ON THE JOB TRAINING
On-the-job training not only develops the skills and knowledge required for specific tasks, but also fosters personal fulfilment and self-improvement, motivating learners to perform their work correctly and understand the importance of following safe work procedures.
SKILLS PROGRAMME
Skills programs are typically short courses ranging from a few days to a month or more. Unlike a Learnership, which requires completing an entire qualification, a Skills program allows learners to focus on a specific set of curriculums relevant to their needs. The exit points for these programs are usually determined by the learners’ individual requirements. This approach enables learners to select the skill programme that are most meaningful to them while progressively working towards a full qualification.
FACILITATORS, ASSESSOR AND MODERATORS
Magas has meticulously selected highly trained personnel to effectively manage your company’s training needs. Our goal is to establish ongoing training programs that will enhance the skills of our current staff, facilitators, assessors, and moderators.
We utilize facilitators with deep subject matter expertise. Assessments and internal moderation are conducted by registered assessors and moderators, ensuring that Magas adheres to its quality management system.
OTHER COURSES
Magas has established written agreements with other service providers, collaborating as a group of companies to offer skills programs and single unit standard training not included in their accreditation list. This partnership ensures that all training and certificates issued meet SAQA accreditation requirements.
The training system and procedures are changing day by day. Magas will stay up to date with these requirements to ensure that we deliver the best service to all our clients and potential clients.
